Ethical principles in the author's activities

The author guarantees that the article submitted to the editorial office has not been published previously and is not under consideration in another publication. Submitting a manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously is unethical and unacceptable.

An article submitted for review must preserve the results of the original research. If the article uses works or includes excerpts from works (quotations) of other authors, such use must be properly documented indicating the source of the source in the bibliography of the article. The editors of the journal «Thermal Processes in Technology» check scientific articles for borrowings using the Rucontext system. The originality of the material must be at least 70%.

The author bears responsibility for the accuracy of information about the co-authors of the article, information about persons and sources of funding for the work, the results of which are described in the article.

All persons who contribute significantly to the results of the study must be listed as co-authors of the article. The list of authors should be limited only by these persons. The author, presenting the manuscript to the editorial office, guarantees that he pointed all co-authors, and all of them have seen and approved the final version of the manuscript and agreed with its submission for publication in the journal «Thermal Processes in Engineering». It is unacceptable to indicate as co-authors the persons who have not participated in the research.

The author obliges to indicate correctly scientific and other sources that he used during the research in the bibliography. Information obtained from unofficial (private) sources should not be used when preparing a scientific article.

Prior to the article submission to the editorial office, the authors should obtain permission for using any content created other persons.

Reproduction of tables, figures or fragments of text (more than 400 words in length) from other sources is allowed, if the authors have obtained written permission in both print and electronic form from all persons who have rights to these texts, illustrations, graphics or other materials, to use them, as well as making any minor adaptation of materials created by other persons. The authors should indicate the data source in the description of the drawings and duplicate it in the list of references.

Word-for-word copying of fragments of the work of another person without indicating his authorship, reference to the source, or using elements of a work created by another person without indicating authorship are not allowed.

The author should disclose conflicts of interest that may affect evaluation and interpretation of their manuscript. All sources of financial support for the project (grants, government programs, projects, etc.) should be disclosed and indicated in the manuscript.

If the author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in an already published article, he is obliged to immediately notify the editorial office about this and assist in correcting the error. If the editors learn about an error from third parties, the author is obliged to immediately eliminate the error or provide evidence of its absence.

The editorial office reserves the right to decline publishing the article in case of the above-said regulations violation.

The author should respect the work of the Editorial Board and reviewers, and correct the work according to the specified comments, or convincingly prove his righteousness.
