The temperatures level’s impact on the carbonate samples permeability was experimentally analyzed in the course of the study. At each temperature level, the applied limiting pressure was within the range of 10–30 MPa, and hydraulic pressure at the inlet was being varied below the corresponding limiting pressure.
The purpose of this work consists in studying the carbonates permeability under the impact of high temperatures. Let us regard the main stages. At first, cylindrical samples of 30×60 mm, which were being exposed to various temperatures, were prepared. Secondly, a series of hydromechanical tests were conducted with account for various input hydraulic pressures and an increase in the limiting pressure from 10 MPa to 30 MPa. Thirdly, the equivalent permeability of carbonates as a function of temperature and limiting pressure is being analyzed.
