Abstract

The article analyzes the possibilities of the uncooled and cooled optical elements application (including both passive and deformable laser mirrors) while the power increase of laser systems. Application of the effective stacked cooling systems with mini-channels ensuring high compactness of the heat exchanging surface and heat transfer enhancement to increase permissible light loading on the optical elements was considered.

The advantages and effectiveness of the proposed cooling systems for reducing the mirror optical surface movement due to its bending were assessed.
