Unsteady simulation of gas separation in gravitational field

Abstract

The unsteady process of gas separation under the effect of gravitation and diffusion was investigated. To solve Navier-Stokes equations with multiple molecules Eulerian model is applied. It is shown, that it is possible to calculate falling velocity of light¬weight molecules in mixing gas
