Abstract
The use of composite and ceramic materials instead of metal ones in constructing of high-load elements of nuclear space power
systems of greater capacity allows decreasing a mass of nuclear space power systems and increasing an operating temperature. Some
technical and technological decisions along with the results of mechanical tests are presented in the paper. Issues requiring additional
investigations are raised.
